Victory and title in Portimão: CLX Motorsport rules the ELMS once again
CLX Motorsport, an ELF partner, wrapped up the 2026 European Le Mans Series season in the best possible way. On 10 October, at the Algarve International Circuit, the #17 Ligier JS P325 of Paul Lanchère, Alexander Jacoby and Louis Iglesias won the 4 Hours of Portimão in the LMP3 class, and with it the championship title for the second year in a row.
In this season finale, the crew took the lead during the second hour, as the pit stops played out, before keeping the race under control all the way to the chequered flag. A composed, mature performance that summed up the team’s whole end of season.
Yet nothing was won in advance. After a difficult start to the season in Barcelona, CLX Motorsport fought back with wins at Imola, Spa-Francorchamps and Portimão, finishing the championship on 110 points, 33 clear of their closest rival. Paul Lanchère and Alexander Jacoby are crowned Drivers’ Champions, and the team claims its fourth LMP3 title, following those won in 2022 and 2023 as COOL Racing and in 2025. And the weekend got even better: in LMP2, CLX Motorsport’s #47 Oreca finished second, the car’s first podium of the season.
For ELF, this title means something special. It reflects what has always connected the brand to its partners: a passion for racing, a drive for performance and a love of endurance. Congratulations to the whole CLX Motorsport team on a remarkable season. The legend continues!
