ELF, the factory of champions
ELF is delighted to announce its participation in the 45th edition of Epoqu'auto, the must-attend event for vintage car enthusiasts. From November 8th to 10th, 2024, at Eurexpo Lyon, ELF invites you to experience a unique journey combining history, performance, and innovation.
The exhibition, "ELF, THE FACTORY OF CHAMPIONS," will tell the story of how ELF identified, trained, and supported great drivers. As a partner of the WINFIELD RACING SCHOOL from 1972 to 1993 and then the creator of the FILIERE ELF until the early 2000s, ELF contributed to the success of many great names: ALAIN PROST, DAMON HILL, JACQUES LAFITTE, and OLIVIER PANIS.
To recount these glorious pages of ELF's history, three single-seaters will be on display at the stand. They will illustrate the journey of a future Formula 1 talent from the RENAULT school to Formula 1: a Martini MK15, a Ralt RT 31, and a Williams FW15c.
We will also have many key players from this period invited to the stand: the creators of the WINFIELD school and its current owner, Bernard ASSET, a renowned Formula 1 photographer, and many drivers such as JACQUES LAFFITE, OLIVIER PANIS, PASCAL FABRE, and potentially other surprises. All these figures will be present at a special evening on Friday, November 8th, at the stand.
A talent scouting program will be recreated on the stand with an E-MOTION simulator, run by a real WINFIELD school coach. The fastest simulator driver will win a day in Formula 4 at the PAUL RICARD circuit.
In addition to its stand located in Hall 5, ELF will be present under a structure at the visitor entrance. There, we will find two vehicles from the RAVAGE brand, one of which will be exclusively presented on TURBO the weekend before the show.
